I-485 still pending at NBC – PD Dec 17, 2024 – No RFE, No Interview
Hi everyone,
I’m trying to understand if my timeline is normal and if anyone has a similar case.
Case details:
• Form: I-485 (Adjustment of Status)
• Filed together with: I-130 (Marriage-based)
• Priority Date: December 17, 2024
• Field Office: Not transferred yet (still at NBC)
• Biometrics: Completed
• RFE: None
• Interview: Not scheduled
• EAD/AP: (yaz: approved / still pending – hangisiyse)
It has been over a year with no movement. USCIS live agent confirmed the case is still at the National Benefits Center.
📌 Questions:
1. Anyone with Dec 2024 PD still waiting?
2. Is NBC delay normal for marriage AOS?
3. Did your case move only after congressional inquiry or service request?

Nov 2024. I had Rfe for medical and they didn’t even confirm they’ve received it. I had to send messages and make a lot of inquiries. just this week I contacted Emma and I was told my case has been transferred from NBC to field office

same here my husband case we filed January 2, 2025 Priority date and he got his 765 approved his 131 canceled, rfe submitted and no scheduled interview or any notices or anything for his 130 and 485 case . oddly similar to my husbands situation. I petitioned for him .

we are still waiting since January 2, 2025 . we are in 2026 now so I think yours should be coming out soon before ours .

we submitted a congressional inquiry this year January 9th , 2026 few weeks ago they said it can take up USCIS 2-4 weeks to respond , I’ll keep you posted if we have anything from them … right now we are waiting .

Not yet. Both my I-130 and I-485 are still pending. My case has been at NBC for a long time and I already responded to the medical RFE. Still waiting.

I also haven’t received any interview notice or update since the RFE response.

myself and kids waiting since March 2023 nothing except an interview for one of my sons still no update

My friend’s AOS priority date is 9/9/24. He already had an I130 approved since 2022. NBC kept his AOS from that date till June 2025, when it got transferred to the FO. Then an officer acknowledged the file on September 18 2025 and now he’s still waiting lol.
