i-485 sent to DoS department of state?

My case was sent to DoS, but i am currently in the US. i havent had biometrics done yet? can someone help me understand what is the next step?

the notice doesnt say cased was appoved but say case is was sent to DoS for visa processing. so im confused as to what is happening

this mostly means that your i485 is approved based on your i526 approval.

seems like it was an error or maybe some “extra verification” was needed from DoS. so my i485 is still pending not approved. cant get any meaningful explanation from my lawyer

@h k yes it was for medical since the original one i submitted was before the regulation change on medical took effect.
