federal government has 60 days to respond

after granted asylum. i file I-485 green card application in April 2023 since then pending. only movement is transfer my case in March 2024 to one processing center to another. for fast processing 🫩since then no update

In federal litigation, the government often has around 60 days to respond after service, unless the court sets a different deadline. Many mandamus cases move after the government attorney contacts the agency, but there is no fixed maximum number of days for a field office decision.
