I-485 New Medical RFE uploaded but case status never updated
My I-130 was approved about 2 years ago and my I-485 is still pending. USCIS uploaded a medical RFE in the documents section of my account, but the case status never changed to “RFE sent.” I also never received the notice by mail because the apartment number was missing in the address.
I mailed the medical response and it was delivered and signed for, but the case status is still the same — “Case Is Being Actively Reviewed” and nothing shows updated.
Has anyone experienced something similar?

same here. I know so many people for whom it never got updated. my medical was delivered on feb 10

Yep. That happened to us too a couple of weeks ago. Only our attorney got the notice but we never got one.

I send my RFE medical on 01 February 2026 but never got update RFE received…. can any1 suggest how long it take ?

I sent my on Nov, it’s was updated but never take an decision I don’t why almost 90 days since they received it

@rustem ayaz I got an rfe for medical 3 years ago it never updated to say “rfe was sent” or anything then I sent it in never said it was received either. couple weeks after I checked and my case was approved. No interview I wish the same for you!

Yes, this happens and it usually is not a problem. Embassies sometimes recheck documents before the interview and the system can show items as missing even if they were already accepted during the NVC stage.
