I-485 new card is being produced
Hi all,
i had an interview today for adjustment of status (married to US citizen) .
my i-485 just gor updated with “New card is being produced ”
howevere my i-130 moved to “Interview was completed and my case must be reviewed ” status.
i dont know why my i-130 did not get in to approved status!!
anybody has seen something similar.? is it normal?

Sometimes with I-130 it takes 1 day to adjust.

Hi Angeli,
it was pretty easy. few questions such as how did you two. meet? where do i work? where do we live currently? in my case my wife moved from ny to St. Louis, so the immigration officer asked about that . she went. over the I-485 form and then we got asked to provide all the bonafide documents. we gave joint bank accounts, tax returns, utilitiey bills, insurance and few photographs of us. and that is all about it. the immigration officer said that she doesn’t see any issue or missing documents but she will have to review.

congrats!! I-485 cannot be approved without the I-130 being approved as well. Online statuses are not always accurate or reliable. My status is stuck on “we received your case” and my biometrics are done.

yea the I-130 can take a day
in my case it got approved the next day after it said new card being produced
