Inquiry why case is taking longer than normal processing time assigned to an officer (submitted through emma): Feb 20, 2024
Submitted medicals with initial application. No dependants. No RFEs. No interviews. As far as I know, case was always at National Benefits Center.

Congratulations! For the SR, where do you check if your application is outside normal times? Looks like you were almost at the 1 year mark? And did they respond to this SR?

@A S I reached out to USCIS using Emma to check if there was an issue with my case and the live agent assigned told me that my case was outside normal processing time and submitted SR themself (I actually didn't ask). I use https://hilites.today/uscis_cases/insights to see some stats about my case and that's where I saw SR was assigned to an officer. I didn't see any other update about SR.

SR was assigned to officer after a week
Edit: checked my notes and saw SR was submitted on Feb 1 and assigned to officer on Feb 20. So more like 3 weeks.
