I 485 approved EB2 National interesting waver
Hi everybody! The Process to change Student F1 status to permanent resident was started em march 2019 and it has sent to Texas. In jun 2020 I received the Request and send more letters recommendation and more evidences in November 2020. In december 2020 the I 140 was approved. I received the another RFE in November 2021. USCIS request the I 693 medical exames. In January 12 the I485 was approved and the Green card will come soon. Luiza is my name. Good lucky to everyone

oi Luiza! did you send the I765 with the green card application? did you get a temporary work authorization? I'm in the same process since Feb 11, 2021 and hoping to get at least my EAD before the i140 is processed. congrats!

Did you use your EAD before your I140 approval? Just wondering it’s impact on your cases approval.

Thanks Ash Amy! I had my F1 until the I140 was approved. Be careful, because I have friends that stoped to study and had the deny from USCIS than had to leave the USA in less then 30 days.

I am postdoc my EAD was approved and I plan to change my job. my i140 niw is still pending but I am just wondering how it is going to impact my niw approval.

Hi Super man! Yes I used my EAD before approved the I140. I had no interview. USCIS has given to me the approval without interview. Don't worry

@Super Man, I am in similar situation than yours. Just moved from J1 to H1B, from postdoc to instructor and I would like to move to another job. Feb 1st I concurrently applied to i140, i485, i765, i131 nothing appoved yet. Once I receive the EAD I would like to move from academia to industry to keep working in the same field. It will be great if someone have had similar experience to share.
