@joh doh Hubby H4 EAD expires next month, so we applied for GC EAD Expedite under financial loss to person. We explained that if he lost his job we would have severe financial issues because we have a mortgage, car loan, credit card payment. The agent told us that we might be asked for proof later on but they never asked for any. We were prepared with a job letter, mortgage statement, car payment statement if those were requested. We contacted USCIS through Emma and did it online. I just typed in Live Agent in the chat and selected Case Status and waited for the Live Agent.

when you applied I-485?

@D M we never received EAD either. If yours follow the same trend as mine by July you should get your green card! Have you got your I-485J receipt notice yet?

Wow! your case went smoothly! I had a glitch where my fingerprints weren’t picked up. Just last week did my second prints and sent the medical and supplement J. Hoping for a interview waiver! So far I’ve only seen EB1 and some EB2 waived. It’s good to know that even EB3 stands a waiver chance. Thanks and congratulations! My 485 PD 10/12/2020.

@ T G you mentioned in comments that your hubby EAD expires next month, that’s why I thought you received your EAD :) I wish to get GC in July! No, I didn’t received I-485J, I’m waiting patiently.

@ D M Sorry for the confusion. He had received H4 EAD in February of this year and that one expires in June 20, 2021. The GC EAD was the one we expedited, but it wasn't received since our GCs were approved.

I had my interview may 6th, approved by the officer who told me my GC should arrive in 1-2 weeks. It has been 2 weeks and when I check my case status it says fingerprints were taken december 4th 2020.. help!! anyone like this??? EB2

@ m med I have never called I use Emma and speak to an online agent. I just typed in Live Agent in the chat and selected Case Status and waited for a Live Agent to come on. Did you get the approval notice for for your I485 application? It says the GC can tale up to 90 days before you receive it. You are to call them if you haven't received the GC after 90 days. Has you status cased yet from the fingerprints status?

@ A H I cannot speak to that. I don't know. Maybe an immigration lawyer would be better able to assist with such a question.

I did received my green card friday, the status was never updated since “december 2020 fingerprints were taken”, got my interview May6 and the case was approved las monday, by friday the gc arrived , good luck everyone

since december to June 14th had no only notification, but I received the interview invitation by mail in april, the online status never changed until June 14 when it said “case was approved”, 5 days later gc arrived
