I-485 and I-130
I have a pending asylum and my husband just file a concurrency adjustment of status for me like I-485 and I-130 so do I have to do anything with my asylum like close my asylum case or put an hold on it?

You must close your asylum process, since it’s something that is ruled by a immigration Judge. If you already have a paper talking about your I-130, you can ask to the judge to give you more time until your I-130 gets approved. If it is already approved (130) you can ask if he can close the case to you move forward with your green card process. In this scenarios, asking a lawyer to do it for you is always a better ideia, because if you say something wrong, the judge will be very hard on you.

was in the same situation.first intervoew 2017 ,second interview august 2021 , just cancelled my asylum last month. still waiting and no update.
