from posts on here and Reddit it seems like lately some cases have been approved within days to weeks once it has changed to being actively reviewed. majority of them were from Nebraska

@omar TBH I don’t even know. online has always showed Nebraska as well as the automated system when I called. NOA1 was mailed from Texas. Tier 1 reps say CA. but if it was in CA would I have received activley reviewing this quickly? because Nebraska is moving at warp speed. so many people went from received to reviewed to approved within 10 days

I wouldn't say neither yes nor no your case is in nebraska cause mine has been there for 7 months now and so far nothing @dalal a

@omar nope they have. there have been about 3-4 solid posters on here who reported their timeline. all within a 10 days span. they were all March filers. which makes sense chz processing times showed 2 months-7 months

my case at Nebraska actively reviewing March 22nd 2021..nothing yet I week now some get approved in 1 and 2 days..i130 standalone for father

mines been saying activity reviewed since December 11 2020 they received it September 1 2020, it says I should get a response by may 14 and this is at the Nebraska center

@Horace how do you see where you should get a response by? online or an agent?

Horace timelnes on uscis website showing 2 to 7 months for i130 approval..they up to September 2020 now so if they past your time-frame you have to call them..so you should be hearing from them soon.

Harry Potamac approval for i130 is 12.5 months to 16.5 now they up to Nov24th 2019..so hopefully you get somewhere soon

actively reviewing mean officer looking at paperwork to see if it should be approved denied or rfe.

thanks fire girl. so at this point we don’t have to go by the processing times on the website when they 19-24 months or 12-16 months. that’s what we look at at the point it’s “received” and once they review maybe your approved within few months?

my dad is in Jamaica they might want to see daughter father bond..maybe pics insurance with both if us name and receipts to show he supports me at some point

Wow. You guys are lucky. I’ve been waiting for 14 months already and the status is still Received. Potomac center. I send them request every month, even call them, or inbox them. Still, nothing has changed yet 😢

contact the congressman. ask to speak to a tier 2 when you call. isn’t it outside of processing times at this point?

I've just called USCIS and they said my case in Texas and not Nebraska. was he telling the truth? because on our receipt notice they had said our case was being processed in Nebraska

I just called them also and they ask for my service center I tell them Nebraska so I don't think they know where it is kmt or else she wouldn't be asking me

it only shows when it’s marked received. you have to call and ask a rep. although everyone says something diff. for me letter was mailed from Texas. online shows Nebraska and rep says CA

Exactly. For me, when it was in received state, it’d said Nebraska but I received the receipt notice from Cali. I have then called them/had a chat at least 6-8 times and most said it’s in Cali except 1 saying it’s in Potomac. My PD is Jan 28th 2021 and it’s actively being reviewed since Feb 26th. No change in status aft that.

the system is so messed up.... it’s frustrating. mine updated to activley being reviewed on the 26th but a rep just told me it looks like it was also looked at again on the 27th

“received March 18 2021”. changed to activley reviewed March 26,2021. rep just said last look at on Saturday the 27th

James - your case has all the ingredients to move really fast, I think. How much time exactly will it take Idk but it should move fast if everything in the application is in order

I received 2 mail one tell me my case is processing at Nebraska but have Texas service center address and the other with receipt notice from California ..

one NoA was from Texas but that shows my beneficiary’s info on it. the other NoA from California but that shows the account access for me to login. online still states Nebraska.

so hopefully case is at Nebraska..California have such long wait

I can’t believe they are even assigning cases there. clearly Nebraska has the lighter workload. they should be balance ca and vt out
