yes i filed on same time, i got the receipt on same time too

did you do biometrics last time from a different category?

no i never do biometrics and i never got the latter for the fingerprint

i talk to my lawyer, and she tell me maybe the USCIS System issue

@ Barry congratulations. did you get your ead approved too? my attorney had told me that sometimes uscis sends combo cards without biometrics too and I have seen many friends receiving their combo cards without biometrics so it’s all good. Also can you tell me if it’s Eb based or marriage based?

no, I not get my EAD approved yet, I am marriage based. I hope I will get my EAD soon, because I need a SSN to renewed my driver license.

@ yes because they will send you a combo card mostly and that will be a ead plus a travel card. so good luck. and please update once you receive your ead approval. I am an October 30 filer too. eb based, hoping to get my ead soon too

it could be a combo card. but for the combo card to be issued. You need biometrics. I mention this because on my combo card they added a fingerprint on the bottom of the card. So that’s what I think

@ Elvis I thought the same but my attorney said you can get your combo card before biometrics in some cases. again each case is different. let’s hope Barry gets his ead approval too.

it happened to me . it was approved before biometrics. but they didn’t print the card until I had my biometrics done . Atlanta field .

oh ok, then how long process you got the bio ?

after approved , it took 1.5 month to do the biometrics. then after the biometrics, the ead card was immediately printed and arrived in 5 days .

ok, I hope my case is same as yours, just let me wait for 1.5 months then to get everything done.

@ mims smmu yeah. I applied on September 14th 2020 got RFE on January, response on February. Biometrics in May. EAD and AP in May. case ready to be scheduled in May as well and July 12 interview was scheduled

@barry same thing happened to me I got my AP without bios two weeks ago. Then shortly after got a bio notice for my 485

No not yet. I actually applied for the EAD in January with my 485 but applied for the 131 in April but got that first so I don’t know what’s going on
