I-130 POD 08/24/2022
Hi friends,
I have been approved today after I saw the notification for the second review. I found the approval notice in the documents. However the notification says that we need to fill out I-824 for requesting USCIS to take action on my I-130 and send it to NVC since I did not indicate on the form itself that my wife will be coming from abroad. That is another $465. Is that the norm?

file that form asap. Mine is 11months and still waiting, this is a terrible form. good luck. It takes from 1mon to up to a year or more. They just forget about it.

make sure when filing I-824 use form G-1450 for payment...to avoid stories that touch.

Mayor of LA thank you for your reply. I just filed I-824 since that was the only form they had asked for in the I-797 notice. Do you think that would be a problem and why so, pray you tell please? Thank you!

I have sent them a check payable to US dept of Homeland security with the form.
