Hi Jason, I would advise you not to overstay your 6months. I'm in a similar situation like you and my lawyer advised me not to stay I will need to go back to my home country where I will do the rest of consular processing there. If I stay in the states and the time comes down for interview etc you will need to get a waiver to return to the home country and you can be barred from between 3years to 10years.

Kason for your situation it is advisable that you go back to your country since F2B Visa is not current and they are looking into July 2015 Cases now! Unless your PD is July 2015 in I-130, you should go back and not overstay! However if you were in F2A catergory, the visa would have been CURRENT and you could have filed I-485 (adjustment of status) inside USA- so no needed to go back to the country!

Hi Kason and Mrs. independent, how did you get the visa? while your case is processed as an F2B? I applied for my son and he is in the same situation but all Attorneys tell me that is it not easy to get a visitor visa while your son's case is processing for the green card. I really appreciate you guys helping me and giving me any tips that how can my son get a visitor visa and come and visit me in the USA?
