Never heard of it. By submitting the I-130, they have shown intent to migrate so they would not be granted a visitors visa.

never know what the outcome maybe please give us updates after you go on B1 visa interview

my wife and new born baby got it. we clearly mentioned that it is for family bonding. we also mentioned the case # etc.. my wife has full time job and is in maternity leave (paid).
they issued the b1/b2 visa
