My petition is for my foreign husband, I’m a resident
I would like to know how to report my taxes in that case?
Now , I went to do them and they told me that as a single woman because my husband does’t have an SSN, I do not know if it can affect us later in our petition.

You can file married filing separately and then write “NRA” in the ssn field for your spouse. Down side you have to paper file and mail your return in. I have done this 2 years in a row.
