jayjay, I-130 does not need I-485 application, the NVC application is equivalent to the I-485 application.

Sarah@ there is a different when you applied for your spouse is faster than parent. I have a friend who applied for her husband after she got approved nvc sent her the letter after 3 days. for me is different I applied for my dad that's right it takes time for parent maybe 1 month, they told me to get the letter from nvc.

u need to wait for your welcome letter from nvc then nvc will tell you what u need to do next ,, mine take 2 days to get the letter in my email and 3 day I got the letter in my address box ,,, they will ask u to pay for 1 visa fees 2 affidavit fees and 3 police report 4 birth certificate , 6full page of your passport and 7us size photo ,original certificate,,,

like mine @ Sarah Alrashedi. i got approved 2 weeks ago nothing from Nvc I'm still waiting. I don't know maybe because it's for parent. when you fill out for spouse it takes only 2 or 3 days to get notification from nvc

wait soon they will send u nvc well come letter with your new nvc case number and show u what u need to do next okay ,, don’t panic with God all things are Possible everything will be okay trust in Only God !!!
