I didn’t indicate on my i130 if I wanted consular processing . so i130 was approved but I needed to file i824 to have my i130 sent to the NVC

@Wael, did you already received welcome letter from NVC? How long USCIS take to send your approved i130 to NVC after i824 approval?

yes I received welcome letter from NVC the same day that the i824 was approved . it took 81 days total

What should I fill in part 3 1.a and 1.b in form I-824? Should I fill in I-485 and receipt number of 485 or should I fill in I-140 and it’s receipt number?

which form did they make you file i824 for ?

I have my green card approved through employment based by filing I-140 and I-485. Now I want to file 824 to start IVP for my wife.

im not sure about your situation to be honest try doing some research on it or call them

yes my i824 was approved after 80 days

@wael - any movement on your NVC processing ?

yes everything is approved , took 2 and a half months at NVC to get approved . now we are just waiting for them to schedule an interview at the embassy in Amman

I received the welcome letter from NVC the day of approval for i824 . and my i824 was at the NBC (National Benefits Center) . I recommend everyone to keep calling and asking them if they can help . I feel like that helped with my i130 approval and also my i824 approval
