@Helen Helen it depends on your case; i will tell you to ask a lawyer before you leave; I get a friend who could not come back to the USA after leaving with a travel document. Good luck

no need to be asked any body if u advance parole you can travel with that after you can back with that safely there is no problem they are just ask you general questions regarding your case history

a lot of ppl travel while on AP without any issues.

I was scared to travel too …. but I did and came back in safe with no questions asked and days after I got my I 1-130 approved

Travelled twice now with advance parole, no issues at all.

@kaba jenn Do you mind sharing what happened with your friend? I’ve never come across anyone one that had issue coming back with advance parole despite all the fear people put out there.

what was your reason and how did you explain it in ten form. is it enough just to writer visiting family ? no urgency

i was safely allowed re-entry just last month(July 2024) no questions were asked to me except whether i brought foreign foods back with me.

@Helen Helen if you applied for green card whilst in legal status then you can leave without any issues

@Sadi CW was you case family based ? when did you applied for 131 and how soon you received it

@TRS Hopefully my friend came in US 🇺🇸 with student visa then he got married, and dropped school so he became illegal then travel with I-131; when he came back to US the customs knew he was illegal and they did not let him enter; his I-130 wasn’t approved at that time; his wife get lawyer now she wants him back.

@umair javed that’s not true; the custom that you encounter when you arrive has a last word; if he said you no gonna enter you are not gonna be admit in America 🇺🇸. Ask any lawyer they will tell you that; my friend wife and I went to their lawyer; that’s what they said and I saw it on google too…

@kaba jenn So he didn’t have an approved primary status that his 131 is attached to.
