How can the intended immigrant provide income?

SCENARIO … Let’s say my EAD got approved and I got a job 1 week later. My husband income is not enough but there is an option to add the immigrants income, however, since the job is new and I have not filed any taxes as yet, is it possible to still add the income and provide a job letter as proof? what else is needed ? what can be done?
