Did this friend submit anything else? Like letter from employer verifying their income?

Yes, all of the documents necessary. That’s why I was curious before I submit mine

And how much money did they make the previous two years? I think they count all that to in order to be satisfied because even though $26k is over the guideline its still not that much more.

I was issued the same thing and my attorney printed out the poverty guidelines and sent my husband tax papers and work papers to show he makes above the poverty line

it depends on ur state actually. Hawaii and NY are higher than Kentucky etc
