Hi, can I apply for I131 refugee document before apply I485? (not main applicant)
I am derivative and I want to apply for i131. My I485 not ready to file yet. I want to apply I131 because it is ready to file.

Yes you can, if your I-730 is already approved, yes you can apply RTD right away

you only need that if you want to travel outside the US. otherwise no need. it will b valid only for 1 year.

i dont have a passport If i have GC can I travel with I-131? anyone did try and no problem returning back?

@Mi Im refugee document is passport. you can travel with refuge travel document

@Bred John i would love too,but travelling could be a risk I’m a GC holder but from 39 banned/restrict countries
