I saw an approval for work permit but nothing yet for I485 it’s 8 days today

you should be celebrating because your process is going well and fast. I filled in May 2020 and the only thing that they asked was for the biometric. it’s been 1286 days. I am still waiting for the 1-485 approval. God bless you and may you get your GC soon!! 🙏🏼
