I had called the USCIS center because on the day of my interview I forgot to bring one of the required documents. The interviewer said they would send me an RFE, but for over a month my case status remained at ‘Interview Was Scheduled.’ After a month, I called and explained the situation, and just two hours later the status changed to ‘Reviewing.’ I guess the person I spoke with was kind enough to leave a note. So if it seems like things are taking longer than usual, making a call or submitting a request might not be a bad idea

Last year July 22,2024 I filed the form 130 for my wife, that time I was a green card holder, now I’m a US citizen and already notified the USCIS processing center about it, but still ain’t got nothing yet it’s been 13 months now. what should I do ?

I think they are taking longer than usual right now. Filed in March 2024. still waiting

@shenni law what number did you call? and how did you get someone to talk to you? I tried calling but only ended up talking to an automated one.

I submitted my i130 April 2023 to this day no approval. Orlando Field office is sitting on my case my son is march2023 still no approval am so tired of the wait.

@Christine Kova whenever you call USCIS number when the machine start to give you options just say info pass and you will be connected to a live agent.

@Christine Kova when you call them Have your receipt number ready for the I-485 And then when they are asking you why you’re calling just say “Change Informations” It will link you directly to an officer
