April 2022 and I’m so exhausted and tired of being anxious to get done with this process

I filed VAWA and I-485 together in November 2021. My VAWA was approved in February 2025, and the I-485 status changed to “case was transferred and office has jurisdiction.” On June 9, I got an interview notice and attended the interview on July 17, but they told me they hadn’t received my file yet and said they’d reschedule within a month. Today is August 6, and I haven’t received anything.

I’m waiting since August 2022 and no update

I am Oct 2021, got my Vawa approval in March 2025. I did RFE medical for my i485 (Vawa and i485 filled at the same time Oct 2021). Currently have my EAD C31 valid for 2 years received in April 2025 (it's my 3rd EAD). I have received 3 Prima Facie during my waiting period. They have even accidentally closed my i485 (they said I filed past the due date...that was their error). Lawyer fought to get it reopened, that took 5 months to resolve. Once they reopened, my VAWA was approved within 2 months. I had a removal order, that was dismissed after my VAWA approval, however the court misspelled my 1st name by 1 letter. Tried to get them to correct their error, they want me to re-file the removal order for $900 for their error. I will not! Anyway, my case is now in the "RFE received" status. Lawfully app shows I am 4th out of 120 cases. My number in the i485 case seems to adust approximately between 8-14 days. We have no choice but to wait and hope and things are made worst with everything happening around us all. Trust in each other, we will all be okay.
