Has anyone gotten married while their VAWA (I-360) and I-485 were still pending?
If so, what happened with your work authorization? Were you able to continue working with your existing VAWA-based EAD while the new marriage-based case was pending, or did you have to stop working and wait for a new EAD?
Also, did getting married affect your pending VAWA case or adjustment of status in any way?
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has personally gone through this situation.

based on some research, it seems remarrying before your vawa has been approved will cause automatic denial at final adjudication. i’m not sure what the process is like for those who remarry after vawa was approved but still have the i485 pending. i hope you get some experience-based answers soon, good luck!
