how does it show when you get approved without the green card interview? just a letter in the mail that says approved?

@Richard Figueroa it shows the same message “ On April 21, we approved your I-485…….”

Is there any difference b/w Case is still being processed by USCIS and actively reviewing? @Dalip Kumar

@Meet patel I saw the same message in July 2023 when I-130 got approved. On July 19, I got an email & “ case is being actively reviewed “ on July 21 , I-130 approved

@Dalip Kumar So basically they both as different meaning. Basically my case is still being processed ig. And onces it turns to Case is being actively reviewed.

But i got 2 API updates within a span of 4 hours on March 31 and April 1.

I am also trying to figure out if, case is still being processed the same as actively being reviewed because I got a notification that case is still being processed on May 16 2025 and the same message now on the 2 May 2026, one year later. for AOS

@Dalip Kumar. my wife had similar situation in timeline but we had applied for both I-130 and I-485 Jun 2023 married to LPR, I-130 approved Feb 2024 after interview, no updates since then, but we just saw an update on API updates with “FTA1” on May 11th, 2026 is this something good, what to expect next per your process ? I just became U.S citizen two day ago and I’ll update her case next week.
