@Qa khan That’s right. They have drastically slowed down processing of asylum-based green cards. The backlog has grown to around 100K pending applications. Since April, they’ve been receiving about 6K applications per month but processing only around 1K. So we’re cooked, thanks to all Trump lovers.

I’m waiting since may 2024 to now I -485 pendig much 2025 I was completed my interview up now waiting decision when will I expect my decision anyone can help me update??

@Qa khan where did you get this information that it says that your filing date will jump from Jan 20/2026 to mar 20/2026 in the lawfully app?

@Qa khan I also know there is that section that tells you the expected decision date for your case that you applied in the app but I don’t know where to find it after I subscribed to the app

USCIS is distributing cases to field office for adjudication with Vetting upon vetting this is slowing down the process. I don’t want to be agent of bad news but I suspect the processing time to jump up to around 18 months soon as few cases are been adjudicated

@Bee Col Are you talking about green card? If so, are you saying that you suspect that the green card processings will jump up to 18 months from 16 months? If that’s the case, it scares me 😨

@Aya Musa yes green card, I suspect the processing time which is currently 16.17 months to jump to 18 months or beyond soon since backlogs is piling up.
