why exactly do you need I-130 after I-485 though? I mean I-130 is basically for travel and once you get I-485 you can travel right?

before I had a asylum case! what my lawyer did was he applied for I-130 first the one take like a year for a interview the interview was to see if the marriage it’s real, then in may 2021 we send all documents for green card and work permit, November I have the interview for green card December they approved the work permit and now they approved green card

the difference it’s I was in USA already when we applied for alien relative and then they have to wait until they approved for petition for alien relative and then we send everything for green card process it’s a very different process when you are outside of USA when you are is USA already
