Larry, have you tried contacting them to ask if you’re in queue for an interview spot? I did that via EMMA when my case was still in the ‘actively reviewed’ phase.

@Stacey O I did and they said I’m in the queue, but the interview has not been scheduled yet.

@ Stacey O the same thing happened to me too on my interview day.the officer told me I was approved but that they have some technical issue with the system and apologize to me and gave me the white paper too but my status have changed yet I guess Bc if the holiday

R.R interview was good officer told me verbally that I was approved but had some technical issue with the system to put the approval in so he gave me the continuation paper

@R . R hopefully the officer told me I will receive the approval notice first then the card will follow next but I should get it before thanksgiving but my status online haven’t change yet

Yea, I have noticed the same trend with cases that start with IOE. Posts on USCIS’s Reddit page suggest the same. I hope yours is electronically approved soon. Congrats on the verbal approval.

@Stacy O that’s crazy Bc when I came out my wife told me that another couple too were told the same thing. so I wonder what the issue might be? I officer said they have a new system now and they are just trying to get use to it. so I really wonder why

Yes, apparently the ELIS system will be used for majority of cases going forward to speed up processing times. My officer straight up told us that she has a hard time adjusting to the system. When was your interview?

Oh yes, go to USCIS reddit page (it’s public) and search “32 days after interview” and look at that thread. That’s just one thread that talks about it. There are many on there. Visa journey and Immihelp too.

Reach out to them on Monday via EMMA and use my exact words on this post. My interview was on a Wednesday and I reached out the next Monday.

@Stacey O yes I did and was told my case is in process for a decision and that they will send me a notice when it’s made

Keep an eye out for when your status changes to “actively being reviewed” again. Usually, a decision notice follows immediately. That happened to me.

Many of us are in the same boat. “Case is ready to be scheduled for interview “.

Iris, “live agent” then click on “case status”. When prompted, enter the receipt number for the specific case.

You are most likely trying after hours. Try it between 8 am and 5 pm EST and let me know.
