@nhat dang yes, I received my ssn with my work permit.

@PD no, it was ready for an interview since august 2020. my actual interview was on September 2021

Could you please tell us what questions were asked. What papers they looked more. About tax files... What were your age differences with your spouse and etc.

sure. my husband had filed for someone else before so in my interview the ask ME for the previous marriage. the questions are based on your forms so study your forms and the info that you put in there. They ask us birthdays, vacations, names of relatives. My husband is 37 and I am 34.

the documentation: joint bank account, lease, utility bills, pay stubs and joint taxes. They asked for those documents at the end of the interview.

i got working permit and my GC was approved but i havent received ssn. do you know what should i do?

the ssn is a different department than uscis. you should call the Ssn to get an appointment and get a ssn.

@Nhat Dang you should get appointment to Social security administration center on Pierpont Street. Can you please share your timelines.

@Nhat Dang is that Brooklyn NY, office? I requested EAD and SSN together but they didn't send me I went to SSN office to get that.

thank you for sharing your great news and your timeline! I am also from the Brooklyn field office and had my interview in Manhattan Federal plaza on 10/05/2021. But the website still says “interview was scheduled”. Your update gave me hope that I would get a decision soon. Thank you very much for sharing!

@Kuki yes! Im sure you will get news soon! when we finished our interview the officer told us that the case was approved but she will need some days to update the joint information. after that everything went very fast.

@mike the questions for him: what’s your wife job? where was she working before coming to the us? what did she do? how was your honeymoon? how was the engagement?
