no lawyer and every single mail from immigration I’ve always received before. actually I just received the approval letter Tuesday and on the Usps tracking it has my zip code so I know it was sent here. so annoying 😫

I think it's still with the usps driver. he marked it delivered to meet up schedule for the day. I had same problem with my work permit

Yea sometimes USPS mark stuff delivered when they are running behind and they just deliver the next day

RFE was for my husband affidavit and the form I-944 before they took down. took me a while to respond and when I finally did they took that form for good 🤷🏻‍♀️😁

I didn’t get mine as well. I live in Ny, status was showing it's delivered but it's not. I have checked everywhere but no luck. Going to USPS today to see what happened.

USPS always lies when they are running late

create a usps account and “request for a signature” so that you don’t need to worry about it and they will definitely knock your door. I read this info this morning

M K I have an account that’s how I got that email. I get informed delivery emails all the time. trying to find that request for a signature but can’t find it

my bad , it says some forms need to fill up with an additional fee to get it.

Update: Just got back from the post office and the guy there said he couldn’t find it there at the post office and I filed this form again. After leaving the post office I finally got an email response from the service request I did on the next day asking where my mail was. Says this: The package shows that it was delivered to the correct geo-location on 9/8/21. I had the carrier check for misdelivery but they were not able to find it. Please submit a claim for reimbursement by selecting the HELP tab at USPS.COM to see if your package qualifies. So yeah they indeed misplaced/lost my mail. Now idk what to do. Gonna call USCIS I guess. 😫

Ouch. I am just frustrated to know this because my USCIS online account won’t even update for me to get the tracking number.

well it takes a few days after they start producing the card then they will give you a tracking number. no update for you? you could def call them and they will give you a tracking number if it was picked up by the post office

i never got it and uscis said they did deliver so yeah I’ll be moving to a new apt next week so I’ll have to apply again for a new one and have to pay 500 dollars for a replacement. I’m so mad but there’s nothing I can do so

hey guys sorry I forgot to update y’all but I still haven’t got my green card. I applied for a replacement but still haven’t got it. i did get a stamp on my passport to prove I am a resident and I can travel outside the US and that I’m allowed to work here. I try not to think about it cuz this whole situations stresses me but life goes on. I wish you all good luck and I hope you guys get your green card!

Usps said my green card was picked up by an individual at the post office by an individual, but I never picked anything up, so i plan to check with them monday to see if the green card was actually at the post office and got picked up by a stranger, or the tracking status saying delivered was a fluke

Hello, I have many questions but no sensible answers regarding my immigration issue.....it was a boiling hot mess, everytime I think about it, I literally get a headache......it has created a domino effect , I absolutely distrust everything and everyone. I was petitioned for by a close family member in 2016 and I had just completed a promotional exam and passed for the rank of a Corporal in my country, I already rented my own place and had my own furniture and I was fully independent and here I thought ok coming to the US would be a good opportunity...a step up and I trusted, this family member and the process. I had no idea what I was getting into. Looking back, I did not realize that housing was the biggest problem in the US, This person petitioned for me and only had a one bedroom apartment, they literally had no accommodation and was able to file a petition for another adult from another country. Essentially you would be assisting them to be paying for their one bedroom apartment because unbeknownst to you, your name will not even be placed on their lease or rental agreement upon completion of the petition. Secondly when I first arrived in the US while still employed and this was mainly due to the fact that I was waiting for my promotional confirmation, I noticed that the US social security office issued via mail a Social Security Card with my name on it to my petitioners address that I would be staying which was the very first US document I received in 2016, 2 weeks after arriving in the country. This has been my question for years, how does the US mail out a Social Security Card without any I. d. verification by the immigrant?.......I was never given the opportunity to verify whether or not the information on my allegedly issued green card in 2016 which should have been issued first was in fact the correct information. I was 4 months later informed that a green card had been issued and arrived at an unknown US address the following month after the social security card was issued. To this day, I have no clue whether or not this alleged green card face or name even matched me or the name on the Social Security Card and then to add to the nonsense, the Social Security office placed some sort of block on the social security card number stating that my name in their computer system did not match my correct name that was printed on the SS card........I am having a headache right now..........this mess is not done but I still need answers not a bandaid solution, I need straight facts not fictitious nonsense as to what the heck really happened in 2016

Also why was there no record by the USPS of a green card being mailed out in 2016 even though the USCIS gave a delivery date and tracking number via USCIS on their website. I am still of the impression that USCIS didn't even issue a green card in 2016 because the USPS did not state or confirm neither it's receipt or delivery. They reported that they had no record of it. For 4 years it has caused me a lot of problems also my trust level has diminished.....
