green card approved after hard interview!
Glory be to God! This journey has finally come to an end.
yesterday’s interview was really hard. But today Lawfully alerted me that a decision has been made and my case has been approved!
Glory be to God!
if you are going through your Vawa journey , don’t give up. I filed- Jan 2022 & - approval came November 2025, Don’t give up, trust in God! The Days are long, but we serve a God who keeps his promise.

@ he drilled me the whole time to admit that i used a birth certificate to get into the U.S. he spent at least 25 min repeating over and over how I’m a liar , and I pretend to be a u.s citizen ( to admit and use permanent bar on me)
my lawyer had to tell him to calm down.
he made comments like “ I can make this hard and do a RFE on the entry”
I was about to burst into tears, he was really drilling me.

my interview was held in San Bernardino field office, about an 1 hour drive from where I currently reside.

@JESUS Moves Mountains! Hi, I want to ask — if move after filing the I-485 and current address is different from the one on the application, can we give the officer the new address during the interview?
Will it be a problem that we didn’t update the address within 10 days?

@kiki C you can submit a address change online.
follow all rules and you don’t want them to use ANY reason to not trust you. I would personally submit online address change and let the office know you have moved when you have your interview- AND bring a copy of the address update.
I too- moved while in process and they questioned me. they are not your friends- they are officers, there to follow the law. so you should too ( because it’s advertised everywhere you have 10 days)
