@love bird, i got approval 1 day after interview and green card arrived my home after 4 days

@thanks Bikal. I got approved last week after 3 weeks of my interview. but i havent received my card yet . status says card under production

@love bird for me, it said card being produce and then very next day it said card has been sent to me and they gave me tracking number too

@Bikal ,just received an update "On September 21, 2021, we mailed your new card for your Form I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR ADJUST STATUS, Receipt Number xxxxxxxxxxxx"

I also got the same update as @Love Bird! 'card was mailed to me'!!

@Love Bird, no, I did not get the tracking no. Did you? I am wondering if because of the sheer number of cards being shipped if uscis is sending it via regular mail...?

Quick question guys. Is the case status on lawfully usually updated in the afternoon/evening for you?

correct and when notification pops that time it says 9 hrs back status changed

@Love Bird and @Nicolas H, I got my notification at 7 pm pacific time yesterday. And at that point, it said that the status changed 20 hours earlier. before this, I have gotten most of my notifications in the early mornings... so there is no a fixed time for the notifications...

@ Love Bird, congratulations on getting the tracking number! I have not gotten it yet... hopefully, I will get it by the end of the day today!

btw do we need to be present during the delivery to sign something in order to get the green card?

I guess we need to sign since it's a priority mail. unless you can release your signature via usps website

maybe earlier too…. they sent it overnight and took just a day to arrive here (from Tennessee to Arizona)

update: just got my card!!! only thing is they delivered it at my attorney’s office when during the interview I asked them to send it to my house…. had to drive an hour and a half for it 🤦🏻‍♂️

I saw the zip code where it was delivered and it wasn’t mine

so you will probably have it tomorrow then. if you need it right away make sure your attorney’s office is not closed the next day and pick it up tomorrow

i received my EAD too after i got my green card, the process is so messed up right now, the only positive thing came out of this long waiting is that i got 10 years card instead of 2 years.

my journey- it took me almost 12 years to get green card . 🙏

I should say my interview was worst of all . As you all know mine is EB2 employment based. I was grilled alone for almost for 2 hours with FO

Hi all! Here is my immigration journey in the US - I have been in the US for 14 years now with over five years on an f1 student visa during my Ph.D., then job for nearly three years on OPT, and then on h1b for six years. As someone from India, I applied for EB1 in 2019 to get my GC soon. Usually, folks from India have to wait decades before getting their GC after i-140 approval if they apply it in any EB category other than EB1. It is a brutal system. I am so grateful that I also got my GC for ten years too!

@Nicolas H, similar to @Love Bird, I also received one envelop with a welcome paper and a card attached to it... However, I got a USPS informed delivery email (I have signed up for it) that shows pictures of two more envelopes from uscis coming my way. They will be delivered to me on Monday, and I will update you when I get them!!

sounds good. I did receive two letters, they were for the i-485 and i-130 approvals. no welcome package

@A S ..... lol.... I was confident my each document was 100% accurate. FO asked for W2,I provided last 12 years w2. same thing about pay stubs. I was asked for current pay stub ,and I provide last 10 years ... I did flood FO with over documentation. Only thing pissed me of was questions like how many floors office bldg is , how any other businesses are in the current building and so and so forth..... But thank God.... All is well that ends well!!
