Grace of Good, EAD approved
I was so anxious the last couple months as my work authorization (current visa) was expiring in July and not having an EAD to continue my current job would have been devastating for our family.
Here is my timeline:
Oct 2 - EAD, AOS filed
Nov 17 - NOA, receipt numbers
Jan 19- Biometric (Canceled due to presidential inauguration)
March 24 - Biometrics
April 6 - Applied to expedite case
April 10 - Request to expedite case approved
April 14 - New card is being produced. Praise the lord.

@Brameshmadhav Srinivasan - Expedite request was for Financial reasons. My current authorization expires shortly and without work (EAD) I wouldn't be able to pay for Mortgage, Kids college and household exp. etc.

@Manu I wasn't asked for Documents. I told them I can send them mortgage statements, college fee statements etc

did you send them an email / mail asking for expedite process ? our lawyer sent an email with employer letter and had no response yet

@sam t - You can type live agent to try talk to a live person and then request him/ her to take a expedite request

but I had heard that you can ask the expedite request via call center . you should try that way Sam T

I think for vawa cases you can write to Vermont or your lawyer can send email.

I got the card being produced notice one day before case approved notice, is it the same for you?
