@robert w i went to my interview May or 2021 where I was taken fingerprints and after my interview I was asked to submit a 601 waiver . my waiver was received July 6 of 2021 and approved March 13 2022

@Ariel Rayo Congratulations on finally receiving an answer I too am waiting on an I-601.. and it’s a complete nightmare. Seems like I can’t do anything to expedite as it has been denied twice even with all the proof I have showed. Also doesn’t look like anything can be done until it’s outside normal processing times (aug 2).. and with USCIS extending the months to process..

wow! congratulations!!! do you still have to go back to us embassy for another interview??? my case is from April, 2021 and haven’t heard anything so far!

@sami Vzqz thank you so much! and we submitted an inquiry to the embassy they will tell me what what documents to bring along with a new medical, and to my understanding they get dropped off at the information window and all you do is wait for your packet to arrive few days later.

@shane m thank you so much. and i was expecting to receive mail first but I checked my website and it switched from received to approved, than msybe 30 minutes later I received the notification on this app.

@ariel Rayo hi! if ur still on the app can u please share ur experience at the consulate in ciudad Juárez after ur waiver was approved? what were the steps after approval? out of curiosity

@v hello ! my waiver took 8 months 14 days exact ti be approved. after my approval we immediately sent out an inquiry to the embassy in cuidad Juarez to let them know the NVC had approved lur waiver . it took the embassy 1 week to respond my inquiry and they also requested me to show up at the information Window in cuidad Juarez with my passport and a new medical exam performed at the same clinic fros last time . after everything was turned in 3 weeks later I received my passport with my visa . it was fairly quick.

@v no problem . and I did not received a packet since my case was done electronically. and I’m sure you don’t have to do another interview, more likely they will request paperwork at the information window. congratulations an your approval.
