I got the active reviewing notice on February 20 then got the approval notice March 10

we filed on November 25th,2021 & my case is being actively reviewed since march 6th so hopefully it will get approved soon

@CillyMe congrats!! was your case ever transferred or was it California start to finish? and was there any complexity with your case, like step children or divorces? just trying to understand why some cases move faster than others.

@HevelynRose.The case started at California but the 1-797 came from Nebraska. We’ve been married for a year; we have a three year old but I do have a step son. No divorces. I just got to the five year mark on my greencard and I’ve heard people say that that’s a factor that is taken into consideration so idk. I’m sure they would have pulled his flight history and seen that he has his visitor’s visa and travels to see us very often and never over stays. Our daughter was born in Florida and he was there for that. the processing time is a shock but a true blessing. I filed the I-130 myself and there aren’t any complexities with case so just my good fortune I guess
