Finally it’s green !
After a long wait, I finally got my approval! 🎉 A big thank you to this community for helping me stay calm throughout the process. The regular updates on my case, along with seeing progress and approvals from other members, were really helpful and reassuring during the long wait.

@M Naray Service Center: LA. Yes, I received an RFE for medicals. I had actually submitted the medicals proactively back in January, but I sent them to the NBC address. In the meantime, my case was transferred to the LA Field Office, so the medicals apparently were not associated with my case. I had to submit them again in response to the RFE.

congratulations. But why did this take this long? generally I was expecting I485 would take 7-9 months. Was your priority date was late 2022 ?

@S T The final action date retrogressed, and it became current again only in January 2026.
