finally approved after 500 days
it was a helll ride! but we made it! i was reading the posts here to get some idea about my case’s process but i got the approvals when i totally forgot about them lol
just two advices:
-try to live without thinking about these cases
- do not care about the estimated timelines for your cases on uscis.com - ifor my cases it still shows 11 months and 4 months, and it also shows approved. so. nonsense!

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 only god knows… it might be several things. i had a little overstay after my visa expired, or i live in nj, i dont know if my case transferred to local field office or not but i know it is always slow in newark, or they dropped my folder behind the desk. this is uscis, noone has any ideas about their processes lol.

@Kemal K hahahahahaha I laughed out loud when you said “or they dropped my folder behind the desk”. it does feel like that doesn’t it. I had a few months overstay as well but you hear about those people all the time approved quickly so I’m not sure that’s it. well happy for you that it’s finally over! I’m approaching 400 days and hoping it’s in the next few months!

@Vy Cao yeah right!? there are some website like hilites etc, i was checking it for my ead, and i feel like i was the one of last people they approved 🤦♂️😁

congratulations…we have exact same timelines..mine pd is feb 15,got exact same rfe and responded on march 28 and my combo approved on sep 9 and 130 and 485 still waiting…
