congrats, can you tell me what is the difference between priority date and submission date?

I filed I-140 on sept 21, 2018. it’s called priority date. but I filed I-485 on Oct 29, 2020. its submission date.

congratulations- So you received EAD on 29th July and I-485 approved after one week ? I did my submission -30th Oct 2020 , Received EAD approval 6th August 2021.
