It depends on family size, and 2020 taxes, 2020 W2 and 1099, and 2021 pay is optional

@kevin Stewart uk I am stuck u was stuck in my country because of lockdown in 2020 which is why I couldn't work I only worked a little bit in 2020 but I have been working in 2021 but my 2020 tax is very low so I am stuck

@Mishal you would need $66,000 in savings if spouse is a USC. 88,000 if spouse is not a USC. Im using assets too, to help me prove everything is good on my I864

@Mishal You could always amend tax returns and use amended tax returns iff you accidently actually made enough

@kevin Stewart I was struggling for the tax papers I have finally found someone and they ordered their transcript wbu???

Ok so, I uploaded all documents 3 days ago (after CEAC website stopped being crazy) I also asked for a expidite. In the CEAC messages it says "case has been expidited to post" also on homepage it says its currently at the embassy near me. When I check the status tracker, it says "in transit to the consular section. Your interview date was provided to you by NVC". However on CEAC my documents only say submitted, not accepted and also not DQ letter. Not sure where to go from here🤔 Just posted this on the community tab lol, you dont need a transcript, you can just give a downloaded tax return if you want. For example if they used TurboTax, they could download it right now.

@expedite means speed up the process for emergency cases

You need 1099 and 1040 and W2s It says I got a interview date but they never gave me one haha On the phone waiting for them now. I'm sponsoring my wife. Im a US citizen living in her country. Asking for expidite makes it go quicker I just got off the phone, mine is now at the consulate here.

A transcript would work to just have to wait and order it, but you can just download a 1040 online and send that instead of a transcript Id just send the 1040 if the transcript is going to take long

Im doing it myself. You will need W2. These are "pay stubs" to prove income. You submit 1040 and W2
