more realistically you’re probably looking at 11 to 12 months for NOA2. USCIS does not appear to be catching up and continues to fall behind. some have more luck, I’m waiting on April 6th.

I just called USCIS and they told me that they are still working on March of 2021 and that they should be working on cases for April of 2021 next month, which is when I received my NOA1. They told me that if I don't get anything by next month to give them a call.

i don’t know why they fall behind. when i saw they were on May and suddenly they start again from February. MY NoA 1 is on September 9

@erwin you can file a writ of mandamus to sue them. but it costs around 5K usd with a lawyer that is willing to do it

I went to Mexico to have a religious ceremony thinking about the k1 fiancée visa to be together sooner but if I knew that it was not like that I would have married legally and not religiously to ask for her as a spouse, I think they are approving those applications faster than the k1 fiancé visa
