Feel like I have lots of questions lately…. expedite of Social Security
Hi, from what I am seeing on the USCIS page, I can ask for an expedite of my SS number. I have a psychology and social work degree. I worked in social work in a variety of settings and agencies in Canada 🇨🇦 but left my field in 2017 but I have a professional degree which is usable here. There is a message on the website that says I can apply for an expedite. Has anyone tried doing this? I am not sure if I would need a job offer first. I am on day 215 since applying.

get a job offer and try to expedite through a congressperson. I was going to do this but for some reason my 765 was approved the day I did biometrics (already had a SS number from prior work visas in the US) @Kingsley B
