hello. im already a citizen now. i filed i130 march 2023 f2a. now my paralegal told me that im only able to upgrade to ir1 if my i130 is approve. is she right????

No, thats definitely not right. I just became a citizen couple days ago and I called uscis up and told them to upgrade my file to IR1.

and i uploaded on my uscis account so r they update by their self or i must call

you should call and you can probably just look up on the website for the number as well.

my case got approved in 5 days after my request to upgrade.
