F2A Consular I130 Approved!
PD: Dec 8 2022
Approval: Jan 9 2026
Centre: Originally California but the approval came from Texas
Received a notice on 8th Jan via email as well as in our account that the I130 was approved but the official change in our Case status came today on 9th Jan. Now waiting on our NVC welcome letter for the next step.
(Case was not expedited, normal processing)
So grateful to God for this approval 🙏🏽

Is it faster for a U.S. citizen to get Form I-130 approved for their minor daughter born in another country than for a permanent resident applying for residency for their daughter born in another coun ?

@Ramanan Keerthana we got our welcome letter 4 days after the approval notice. We’re still in the process of submitting our documents but it is very possible to submit documents within 2 weeks of the welcome letter.
