did you keep stutus after filling or you use your work permit ?

did you have to do a service request or anything once your pd became current or did they just send you interview notice ?

@V T YES! They will ask in the interview. This happened to me. They cannot approve the i485 without a valid medical exam. The officer said that to me.

congrats! Make sure you get your updated i693 (sealed letter) and bring it to the interview. I had my interview a couple weeks ago and totally forgot that mine was expired! got an RFE for it, otherwise would have been approved…

@B C happened to ne too!! when did you have your interview? have they updated your case after you sent it (assuming you sent it already)? my interview was Aug 25th and they got my response Sept 11th

@Keanna K, Did you receive an RFE, or did you just send it? My interview was on August 29, and I have not sent it yet because I have not received the RFE. I am thinking of sending it to them without the RFE since I already know what is missing. If they lost, and send an RFE I can send another medical exam. I talked to the doctor and it’s only 25 dollars to have a new sealed document. I think it's worth risking it

@B C Yes, the officer gave me the rfe in the interview but it also got posted on myuscis a couple of days later I think. I would check the documents tab again or chat with Emma about it. But if you want to send it make sure to send it to the field office (where you went for the interview). the RFE instruction was to include the sealed document along with a copy of the rfe. I alao included a 3 line cover letter with my A number on top that basically said this is the response to the rfe.

@B C What did the officer tell you? maybe they need something else other than the exam too? That’s a bit weird they haven’t sent you the rfe yet :-?

@Keanna K No, she said everything was good besides the exam. Also, she said that if I had the new exam with me, she would approve my green card. The I-130 was approved on the same day. I’m in the Miami area everything is slow here :( I check the tab documents every day. I called USCIS they said that I need to wait, since there is no timeframe for RFE request. So tired about this process 😥

@Keanna K I prepared a cover letter with all my information, a copy of my i485, and a copy of the approval for the form i130.

@B C Aahh that’s frustrating but you are sooo close!! They received my response yesterday (I sent the response last week) and today my case got approved!!! I can’t believe it is over…

I am F2A July 29th too but my i130 is not approved yet. I was doing consular processing first and filed my AOS this year May. not sure where I am in the line

@V T so many questions I was freez, my interview last around 2 hour plus wost felling every, I got denied back in 2021 because I over stay my hb2 visa
