hello everyone,
if the principal applicant has a DQED and after 6months later you added your baby as a derivative Accompany and also had a DQED, which one of the DQed does the embassy consular goes with to determine there interview appointment, is it the principal applicant or the derivative applicant? TIA.

DQ date of both - spouse and a kid - both will change - and new Dq date will be assigned to both - happened to me

@Umair, so what will be your advice. should I just wait until my spouse gets her interview letter then I contact the embassy and to add our new born baby to come to the interview with her mum. will the embassy allow us to be able to do that?

i don’t think so that’s the good idea - because they need some documents from regarding your baby - like birth certificate passport etc. it would become difficult to add her and get her interviewed after you receive interview letter - they would know from birth certificate what was the date when baby is born - i wouldn’t do this - you can ask lawyers to confirm this.

@umair, yes I do not even want to do that but what would hurt me most is that when I add our baby to her mum's case the new DQed will be used by the consular to determine there interview appointment. that will be something which will hurt me alot because already my wife has already sat waiting for the interview appointment for 10months .
