@smj jo - You either call/chat with USCIS agent and tell them that you would like to expedite your application. They ask you couple of questions and submit your request. Just one suggestion, in your statement do mention that you can submit the required proof.

when you call just make mention that it’s about biometric appointment

I did expedite before and it was more than a month they mailed me my EAD card.

@chrsitophe H just say appointment and they’ll connect you to live person from there you can state your request

@Mark it says delivered but wasn't. and when I called they said since USPS says its delivered I'll have to reapply, this was after I waited 30 days and submitted service request as instructed. So I may just reapply and write a expedite request explaining all that

if you can physically go to the post office and ask them to double check, that could work. I am sorry that happened to you. Did you get your social at the same time?

Just be straight with them, let them know it wasn’t your fault and having your EAD is important. Let them see or hear the empathy

@Mary Mary I’ve see people waited months after interview. So having it as a back up won’t hurt you at all

update to card was mailed to me but I have no tracking info yet

You have to wait for USPS to pick it up and then you will have the tracking number.
