Email Notice in lieu of I-797
I am thinking of filing I485 today bcoz of the fee increase that goes into effect on Monday. I don’t have the approval notice (I-797) or medical; but I have the email notice. Pls do you think I can use that instead?

I think you can use the receipt notice (just to avoid return) alongside the email notice.

why would they return ? you can also apply even it’s in pending (not approved).
