What is correct application type for EBA1 Derivative filling I-485 under Employment based (3.b) : should both principal and derivative applicant be same as “Alien of Extraordinary ability “

All derivatives file in the same category as the principal (EB1-A in your case.) The form also asks about the principal applicant if the filer is a derivative
