EB4 Religious worker
Hi guys, can anyone tell me who have experience with I-485? I was “Reject After Ingest” i-485, because when i apply visa bulletin is not Current, i have EAD but expires 2028, and my R1 has expired,
I have to wait visa bulletin current and apply again or need go back my country,

@R Lam , I am in the same situation as you but my R1 is expiring next month. Ask your religious organization to file another non immigrant visa for you (Ovisa) or move to F1.

@TRS Hopefully I asked 3 lawyers, each lawyer had a different opinion, they said I had to return to my country if the R1 had expired.

@TRS Hopefully But some lawyer say no need to return just wait when visa bullentin is currently we can apply again,… Now I don't know who to trust.

@R Lam I don't want to panic you but it seems you are out of status now and to apply for i485 you need to have status.have you consulted to your lawyer recently?
